What’s up world? Happy Holidays to everyone. It’s about 4 in the morning on Christmas day. I took a nap earlier so I’m pretty much awake, on the lookout for Santa. I feel like I’m the only one awake. I might go for a bike ride after I write this blog, I’m in one of those zones I get into some nights. I’m looking forward to Christmas brunch and dinner tomorrow though. I’m starving haha.
Poker has been alright for me lately. I had a pretty good week but it could have been a lot better. It started with a 3rd place finish in the Sunday HORSE tournament on FTP. On Monday I entered heads up play in the 100r with a 5-1 chip deficit and couldn’t beat JyMaster, so I took 2nd place, which I was happy about. I also got heads up for a PCA package (AGAIN) and somehow managed to lose when I had 3mil to his 400k at 40/80k. He won the next three allins. It was ugly. I then got deep in the 1k on FTP only to bust 25th place losing a monster pot AA vs QQ all in pre. My last score of the night was a 7th place finish in the 50r turbo on FTP as well.
On Tuesday I decided to grind again and went deep in the Stars 1k, busting 22nd place. I lost 4 coinflips in a row, went down to 5bbs and my 78 bricked vs AQ on a 463T board. Another ugly night! Wednesday, my parents put on a holiday poker tournament. I decided to play in it and so did online legend Stuart “Thedonator” Paterson. He bubbled it in 4th place and I made it heads up against my father. He doesn’t really know how to play poker so Stu was helping him. He won the title by beating me KQ vs AJ all in preflop. If there was more room for play I hope I wouldn’t have lost to him haha. After that I grinded online a little bit and made a couple more deep runs, getting 19th in the 100r 6max on FTP. I’ve been deep in a lot of big tournaments lately, so hopefully I can start pulling out some better finishes.

Truly awesome. I didn’t even know he knew that much about poker and the online websites, but apparently he knew a little bit haha. My dad actually won the T-shirt too. Maybe I will steal it from him and wear it to a tournament 
Other than poker things have been pretty good and busy. I’m looking forward to the New Year and whatever comes from it. I can’t believe It’s almost 2011… I hope everyone has a great end to 2010. Goodnight.
